Wisdom Teeth

Wisdom teeth don't always cause trouble — but when they do, removing them early can prevent pain, crowding, and infection down the road.

What it is

Wisdom teeth are the last molars to come in, usually in the late teens or early twenties. Because there's often not enough room, they can become impacted, partially erupt, or push against other teeth.

We assess your wisdom teeth with an exam and X-rays, and only recommend removal when it's genuinely in your best interest. Many people do well having them out before problems start.

What to expect

  1. 1

    A clear assessment

We take X-rays to see the position of your wisdom teeth and explain whether removal is recommended.

  2. 2

    A comfortable procedure

Removal is done with thorough numbing, and we'll discuss your comfort options beforehand.

  3. 3

    Smooth recovery

You'll get clear aftercare instructions and our direct line if you have any questions while you heal.

Your comfort comes first

We'll never rush you toward removal — if your wisdom teeth are healthy, we'll simply keep an eye on them. When removal is the right call, we make the experience as calm and comfortable as possible.

Common questions

Do all wisdom teeth need to be removed?

No. If wisdom teeth are healthy, fully erupted, and easy to clean, they can often stay. We recommend removal only when they're causing problems or are likely to.

Is wisdom tooth removal painful?

The area is fully numbed during the procedure, so you stay comfortable. Some soreness afterward is normal and manageable with the aftercare guidance we provide.
